Is a civil war quilt one that is done in colors that were popular in 1860-1864? one that is a copy of ones in museums that survived from the early 1860's? ones that have appliques of scenes or items that depict things from the civil war? Just what makes a civil war quilt? What is the difference in a civilian 1860's quilt and a war 1860's quilt?
