My (now ex) would have rejoiced if our local Hancocks had closed since he didn't understand why I needed to constantly buy a little of this and a little of that...... Sorry to hear that your JoAnns will not have any competition....is there a WalMart with bolt fabric nearby???? Mine has recently returned to bolts from doing just precuts for a couple of years, and their selection is pretty good.
