I buy those cheap orange or blue handled ones for garage or shop use. I did give my husband my old Fisker dressmaker shears when I bought a new pair.
In my sewing room I have those white with a red strip Singer scissors for everything but fabric use.
All my sewing shears are silver Wiss or Fiskers.
