Decal Copyright Question?
Okay I searched this forum and Googled and read Copyright Laws and still have not found my answer so if it is on here I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am redo a Singer 99k sewing machine for a friend in a really bubbly way. Think hot pink with bubbles for the bed. If I put the Singer tags back on in the fonts that were there it is going to look STUPID. What are the copyright laws on me designing my own? This is a real singer, through and through so I am not worried about that but if I change the design of the name and reput it on am I infringing in someway? I am only talking about the "Singer" on the front and back of the design as the "bubble" design comes up over where the "Singer Manufacturing Company" would be on the top. Just curious.... Don't want to get in any trouble. Thanks
