I still think she should see what the situation is before committing to doing anything.
One thing I've learned over the years is to say something like "Let me think about that" or "let me get an idea of what's involved before I commit to anything"
But if she's already committed - maybe post some pictures or scans so we have a better idea of what's involved - a small singe or two inch holes?
