I hope you are saving scraps from each of her requests. Later you can use them is a big quilt for her \. There will be a story behind each fabric which will bring back fond memories of you when she is older.

I had spend a day with my GD helping her to read a dress pattern and making a dress from my GGD. I had supplied the fabric and kept the scraps. When I made the GGD her queen-sized quilt, I used some of the fabric in the prairie points and I understand she recognized it immediately. She will not forget the first dress my GD made for her and perhaps me for assisting.

Incidentally, we have three generation of "spoon hangers". When my son married, my precious GD was part of the package. When they visited the first time, (they live in FLA, we PA) we started the tradition. Now the GGD can spoon hang also.
