I have never used any but, I know there are some natural dog foods, I think I would try those first. I have had toy poodles and now have a 7lb. Chihuahua. I had one larger dog, only fed him Iams dog food he did well until he was about 13 and had a cancer sore on his foot and that took him. All my dogs have had food down at all times and I found that food was not that big a deal. My Sis-in-law has three labs and feeds them twice a day and food is a big deal to them. Good luck with the people food, not real good for us, I can't think it would be for them.
