There is a movie called the Rubber Room..it's about where teachers in NY go when they get in trouble..They sit there all day, getting full pay sometimes for years while decisions are made about their jobs...Wonder if thye would let them bring a sewing machine in there??? Did you at least get to bounce off a wall?? I remember MANY years ago, visiting kids in a state psychiatric hospital to do a Christmas party with my Girl Scout group..the highlight of the day was when a patient taught us how to get out of a straight jacket...thought I was going to need that skill one day with 9 kids to raise!!
