I haven't had good luck with regular watercolor pencils. The Derwent Inktense pencils, in my opinion, are superior to any watercolor pencils. I don't know if there are other brands of ink pencils on the market.
The Fruit of the Earth aloe vera gel should be clear and can be found in the hand lotion section at Walmart which I have found to be the least expensive so far...$3.99 for 12 oz. I really do like the 20 oz. pump bottle for home use, but Walmart doesn't stock this size. I take the 12 oz. bottle with me "on the road" while working when riding in the car.
