I am working on the Spiderweb pattern from Bonnie Hunter's tutorial on her site www.quiltville.com. It is pieced on telephone pages and she has step by step pictures as well as instructions to follow. I started mine with an 8 and a 1/2 inch square paper and cut it in half to get my triangle. When I put my 4 triangles together my block looks about 12 inches. (Not sewn together) In order to get a 12 1/2 inch block, I would play with a paper pattern until I got the size I wanted maybe start with a 9 inch square?
