I have a Brother CS6000i that I've had for several years now and have never had a problem with it. Also have another brotherXL5462 that I think I have used up; probably just needs a trip to ER.

I bought the second one cause it was cheap at Walmart.........bought the CS000 because it was on a VERY good sale when Walmart got out of the fabric dept a few years ago. They are both VERY GOOD machines, have served me well for years and I recommend them to anyone for every day sewing.

Have 3 or 4 vintage machines that still run really good and a vintage Singer hand crank. Also have a mid=arm, made by Pfaff Grand Quilter that I've had several years and it runs good, too. I only quilt for my family and enjoy using all of these machines at one time or another.

The Brother CS6000i sold for $249 and Walmart had it on sale for $169, I think.
