Default Hi, Ya'll! From Tennessee

As my title says, I am from Tennessee. I have been crafting all my life. My grandmother was an active member in her church's UMW club. She always shared what they were doing with me and my sister. I even had a corner in the quilting bee. Before she passed away in 2008, she had given me her quilting frame and stand that belonged to her mother. I am not sure of their origin, but I do know that they are handcrafted from oak. My granddaddy made a smaller frame for lap/baby quilts. Unfortunately, I have yet to use them as I do not have a dedicated room. My space consists of a corner of our bedroom. When I need to spread out, I go to the dinning room table. Maybe in a few years when both kids have flown the nest, I will be able to take one of their bedrooms, until then I just collect UFO's. Some of my other loves other than quilting are sewing doll clothes, jewelry making, and papercrafts (cards and personal scrapbooks).

I have been married to DH, Todd, for 22 years. We have two children. DS, Logan, who will be 18 in less than a month. He is a senior in high school. Planning to graduate in Dec. Then off to community college until he figures out what he want to be when he grows up. DD, Ashlea, is 16. She is a junior in high school. All she knows is that she wants to go to the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Our furry family consists of Reese, the Lab-Husky mix, Camo, the orange Tabby, and Dutches the Dutch bunny.

Looking forward to sew much fun!
