Hahahaha! No kidding!

I just got a mini charm pack as a gift for ordering from someone - I made a little tiny twister quilt out of it. I put two layers of batting in it to use it as a hot pad or wall-hanging - it's pretty stiff.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't use pre-cut squares - I'd sew strips of the desired width together lengthwise and then cross-cut the pieced strips, rather than sew the individual squares together. But I have a kit to make a Christmas tree quilt from those mini charm squares, so I guess I'm going to sew little blocks one more time, anyway.

Might be cool to collect mini charm packs to make a "postage stamp" type quilt, though. I'd wait and see how many fabric lines Moda is going to put into this size, though. It looks like Turnovers and Honey Buns are almost gone - I'm SO glad I bought the ones I wanted before they eliminated those pre-cuts.
