urgodschild2, i have picked out 3 fabrics so far, but i can feel i'm not done! may take swatches to my favorite lqs ( which isn't very local) and see who jumps into my arms and makes me take them home! i am looking for a new source of solids since the ones from JA's shrank in cold water. never heard of such a thing! but they did hold their color, as did the batiks in ds's quilt. that was a very pleasant surprise and the happy waste of 4 color catchers. i have found connecting threads quilters basics or candy or whatever they call their solids to be good and hold their color, too, but i'd like slightly heavier yarns.
paula-- i'm so sorry for your bad day and so happy it will never be that day again! big hugs and kisses and if you need them, i have strawberry shortcake bandaids. ( don't tell anyone, they'll all want one). they are guaranteed to work twice as fast as regular bandaids to get a smile from a child. and i've seen them work on adults, too!
