These two are basically the same thing. If you go to Viking's website they have an accessory guide that shows all the attachments for all the machines. First you look in the front to see what number category yours is in. My Viking #1 is in category 1 and my Ruby is in #7 so when I'm looking at accessories anything with a 1 will fit my #1 and anything with a #7 will fit my Ruby and somethings fit alot of machines.
