I have a wonderful recipe that my son uses for his tailgate parties. It's called Taco Salad. It's very easy to make and it's always a crowd pleaser! Here's the recipe:
Taco Salad
1 1/4 lb. Chop meat head lettuce
large tomatoes
scallions (green onions)
peppers
1 pkg. x sharp shredded cheddar cheese (cubed)
1 sm. bottle catalina dressing
1 package durkee taco mix
Bag of nachos (crush them slightly)
Cook the ground beef, drain the fat and put it in the bottom of an oblong pan and refrigerate.
Cut up all the other ingredients and put in separate baggies.
When you're ready to serve, put all the ingredients on top of the cold ground beef, mix and serve.
