The directions are given in the pattern -- this tutorial is not necessary. I am making the runner now, and I am happy that I purchased the pattern.
I purchased the original pattern and the instructions are terrible. My quilting friend, far more experienced than I, also said the instructions were very bad. I wasted some nice material on my original attempt and almost gave up on finding instructions that made more sense but the instructions given on SewWeQuilt are so clear and the pictures are very clear. Now I'm ready to try again. I really tried to find better instructions and was thrilled to find this tutorial.
