That is a beautiful quilt! I love to see feather patterns on log cabins, they look so pretty! When I finish mine, I hope to send it Charisma to work her magic on it.
I found this site the other day. They also sell paper patterns as well as digital, or even just browsing gives me ideas of things I can draw up on my own. I'm not ready for feathers yet myself on a large scale. Having a larger quilt on a domestic machine is challenging enough just to move it, but the visability isn't great and I can't always see where I'm going. But using paper patterns helps me to be able to do some things I wouldn't normally do.
