on another note: i think i have become the stray animal whisperer in my new neighborhood. somehow strays see me and know that i will feed them. they start talking to me, meowing at me or just looking at me with long sad puppy dog faces. 1st there was one cat, now there are 2. the dog just got my dinner and kept going.
i have a soft spot for strays since both of my furbabies were stray rescues. maybe they neighborhood strays can "smell" that on me.
either way i now need to go buy big bags of cat & dog food to keep in my trunk.
