I started this quilt last year but only managed to get the middle section finished before I got frustrated and put it away (at that time I'd only been quilting for about 6 months and had no clue what I was doing lol). The pattern came from the September 2011 issue of The Quilter magazine. My friend found the panel and some of the fabric at her LQS when she went home for a visit, and we found the rest of the fabric here locally.
I brought it to work since I decorated my office for Halloween - for a novice quilter I'm very happy with how it turned out, warts and all!
