I have one and love it. My school district has provided me with five for my classroom, and they are used daily. From talking with other adults who have bought one - you either love them and use them constantly or hate them and they gather dust. I have 1 of the new 3rd generations and the others are all iPad 2s. Honestly to me the differences are not noticible enough to justify spending the money on the newest version over the iPad 2.
