I think with QOV, the long-armer can get left out of the loop and feel like they're not as involved in the process. I'm glad I found one quilt topper to work with. I feel involved, get feedback and get to see the end result along with the recipient. I was getting tops from all over the US and never any information about what happened to the quilt once it left my hands. I like feeling a more personal connection. And now, Carol is working on a fund-raiser that will help defray costs, pay for batting and thread, etc. She's gotten fabric donated, loves to sew and will keep me as busy as I can handle. Yeah Carol!
