Time at a retreat sounds like a good trade to me. We did go on the hike, weather was perfect. Cool enough that we needed jackets, but the walking kept us warm enough. The trees are mostly still green but some lovely golden spots (that didn't really show up well on film, the light was wrong). We did the quarry hike today
