you ladies are doing a beautiful job on your blocks. and i luv the unique fabrics and colors you are choosing. i am just sooooooo awful with colors. i guess, that's why i did a CW reproduction. let the manufactur choose my fabric and colors for me. such nice ovals, circles, Y seams. points. great job everyone. ohhhh, and i am doing another jane also. was thinking about making 5" blocks, and just added a 1/4 " around the edges. make that extra 1/2 in per block, makes the quilt 6 inches bigger, and etc. etc. decided i am just going to cut them all down, and make the normal 4.5 in blocks.
