Default How to make a triangle border / sash

Simple ( I hope ) instructions for triangle borders / sash
Draw two lines 2 inches apart (or however wide you want border or sash).
Draw a line on each outer side 1/4 inch away for seam allowance. You should have 4 lines.
On second line down, place a dot every inch away from left edge of paper.
On third line down, start 1/2 inch from left edge of paper and place a dot every inch away from that original dot.
Start connecting dots as shown in photo to make triangles.
Paper piece with small scraps from your stash!

I have added two additional examples, showing dots further apart ( 1 1/2 inches ) and closer together ( 1/2 inch ).
