While working on my quilt, I decided to stop and do a sample block for you of the Starry Bullseye. Both templates were cut from a 4.5" square and the foundation is 5". I do like at least 1.5" of the foundation to show from the edge of the pattern. This was really easy with only 2 pcs. and the dark showing under the pink is not from the floral but the teal background. The navy floral was cut away from the back the same as the Boxy Bullseye is done. here's the pic: (you can see how this would be a good scrappy too!)
