Oh! I wouldn't repaint that neat little lady. I love all shades of purple and would love to be able to afford one of those in purple or lilac ones that some are selling, but I would NEVER ever repaint either of mine.
I think changing the color of things from their original color for some, is like changing one's hair coloring. God gave me a particular color of hair with lots of grey added now and that is what He intended for me to have. When I discuss hair coloring I just add this line "I don't use any color on mine, what I have is God's natural highlights". My daughter is a licensed beautican, but I can't get into the color change.
Please think about not repainting your little jewel.
