The first thing I would do it stabilize the sandwich by SITD on all the seams. Once that was done I would use my plastic sheet and dry erase markers to preview quilting designs for inside the sections.
You can make you own preview sheet by buying clear tablecloth plastic, use masking or painter's tape around all for sides and your ready. The tape on the edges is so you don't accidentally run off the edge of the plastic with the dry erase marker onto your quilt.
