I hand sew on ones that are not toss arounds. I just don't like the look of machine sewn, at least not mine. I have tried the back to front , the decoritive stitch etc. I like the plain smooth look of the hand sewn binding. But I realize there are people who can do the machine sewn much better than I and ones who just can't do hand sewing anymore. Also each quilt is different. If I am making a wall hanging good chance the binding is going to be machine sewn After all no one will see the back.
