well this site says if you want four inch sides, order the eight inch hexagon template....

but you can
draw an eight inch square, then find the center. measure out from the center two inches and mark top and bottom of square(that will be four inch hex sides). then mark the center of the square on the sides and draw from that mark to the top and bottom four inch sides you made. do on each side. there you have it.
