Our Fair has a Scarecrow competition every year. And each year they get better and better!
Some use Christmas tree stands to hold the Scarecrow up!
Some do a framework of lumber.
Some pick a traditional Scarecrow look ... others may have a slightly different theme.
One this year had a mop upside down with the mophead strings as the hair.
Christmas Angel hair works good for hair .... also Easter straw.
Some illuminate theirs with lights ... plug in, battery operated, or solar lights.
Halloween masks make for great faces/heads.
A trip to your closet or a thrift store and you can find a whole wardrobe to make your wo/man!
And there's always lots of embellishments available at Dollar Stores!
It doesn't need to cost a lot ... and the possibilities are totally unlimited!!
