Hi & welcome from southern Minnesota. I spent the time from my children's birth until the 2nd (last) one started Kindergarten and then I went back to part-time office work. I wouldn't have traded anything for those precious years with the kids. I didn't have the energy to get into quilting too; but good for you!!!
