I have had an easy quilter for a couple of years. It worked well with my Bernina 430 and was set up on a 24 by 48 inch table. I did some small projects and alot of practice on muslin practice quilts. But I really wanted to be able to do queen size quilts and eventually got an 18 inch mid arm and frame. I found that all that practicing on my easy quilter helped alot when I started with my mid arm.
I used it both with and without my stitch regulator on my Bernina. I was getting pretty good without the stitch regulator.
I would suggest it as a learning tool and for small projects. (Although you can do larger quilts - just harder toshift them around on it.) It was alot of fun doodling and doing template patterns.
