So my DD has never been too excited about quilts, and never asked for one, although I have made some for her kids, who do like them. So here's what I came up with. I digitized and embroidered all the faces on the yellow fabric, and then appliqued them onto the black--in some cases, I also embroidered on the black. I haven't quilted it yet, so you can see the red fleece that I'm backing it with around the edges.
OK, so I need a name for this quilt. I have a couple of ideas, but nothing I'm really happy with yet:
-Rachel's faces
-Ask me how I feel!
-I wonder what today will be like.
