You can use any ruler that has the correct angle, but as a certified Kaye Wood instructor you would find more uses for her ruler than any ruler you will ever purchase. She has 3- Starmaker 5, 6, and 8. These rulers will cover all of the angles that you will ever use in quilting. The 6 & 8 will make OBW and stack and whacks easy, just to name 2.
