I must comment on the cost of BOM patterns. Each section is treated as an individual pattern. Then the final directions are written. When you think about a traditional quilt pattern. It may have 2 or 3 blocks at the most in it. then it is the placement of the blocks to make the pattern. Also with any applique patterns. You must print every piece out for each applique. this adds to the total cost of the pattern. I think 30 to 60 dollars is acceptable for a BOM type pattern. I know it maybe to expensive for some. I understand that but I also know the design process and it really is a bargain! I have paid up to 110 dollars for a BOM pattern from Australia. I am currently working on it.
