Quilt guild update
So I went to my first quilt guild meeting and I am now a proud member of Smithtown Stitchers. Everybody was really warm, easy going and welcoming. They seem like a very nice and talented group of ladies. Their show and tell was amazing. I am not a big fan of appliqué but quilts I saw tonight were stunning, no word of a lie, they would win any contest hats down. The time flew by really quickly and I can not wait to go to the next meeting. The guild is organizing a retreat on Shelter Island in March and I think I will join them for my first ever retreat of any kind.
