Taboo Tuesday. Well, not specifically because of you Irish, bou it won't hurt. There's been lots of banting about of suger vs no sugar - you get the drift. Well this week, we're focusing on foods that convert to sugars almost as soon as you chew. This is based on the precepts found in a book - "Sugar Busters" by Drs. M. Bethea, S Andrews, L Balart and Mr. H Steward. Lots of interesting reading there about preconceived eating habits. A list of foods to avoid this week follow - avoid any of them, or all of them, as you choose.
No-Nos this week: potatoes (red or white); white rice; corn (including popcorn, cornbread and meals); carrots; beets; white bread.
