I have a pair so I can give a first hand review. I bought them at Quilt in a Day. I thought my Ginghers were fine for cutting batting until I used the batting scissors. What a difference! The handles are completely out of the way of the batting so no stops while cutting. My cuts are straighter. I can cut several layers at one time. The scissors are a must if you cut lofty batting. Sure any of my other scissors will cut batting but why not use the better tool for the job.
