This block is new to me, also. I think I am on the right track, but others may have suggestions.

THANKS CATHY!!!!!!! Wish I had seen this post yesterday, could have saved me hours of mathematical frustration. Red, blue and yellow is 4 blocks made into pinwheel. You can see the strips I cut off blocks that may make a border or be part of back side. The brown and peach one block I made today using your math. Easy easy easy...a tip: sew the folded piece in each lower corner to hold it in place while sewing 2 blocks together. Only need a few stitches
