If it's hemming, I believe the Janome 6600 does not have a freearm, in which case it would not be possible to do a blind hem stitch unless you could open the seams on the pants leg first in order to hem flat, then restitch the side seams. This would be way too much work for me! Most sewing machines have a freearm, but this particular sewing machine gave that up in favor of the wider harp for quilting purposes.
