I say go for it. I bought my Brother QC1000 machine on a whim 4 yrs ago(and well I had just gotten a good size lump of money) and I am still very happy with it. It is heavy. I cannot take it anywhere . I do have 5 other vintage machines but have come to the conclusion that I REALLY need a smaller lighter machine with an auto threader
So am considering selling my vintage machines to finance my newer machine. I will get it at the dealer where I got my Brother although they have changed over to Babylock it looks like.
