Welcome to the board - I joined last year and find it amazingly helpful. I've been quilting for over 10 years but I've learned lots of new stuff here:every member seems so eager to help. As for your basics to start just a mat, rotary cutter and ruler (6 x 24) to begin with. As you progress you will soon realise what extras you need.
