I 'inherited' an old Singer treadle sewing machine. Unfortunately after several tries have3 NOT found any identification numbers or name. All I can tell is that it takes the old long shuttle style bobbin. However, I think that may come in different sizes.

Question: How can I tell what size shuttle [elongated] style bobbin to buy?

I would appreciate a personal message on this.
