The SU on the left is exactly like my machine. Bought it in 1976 when we lived in Tulsa, OK. It is a wonderful machine. It will sew anything and I've never had any repairs other than replacing some metal part that the SMG said doesn't wear out unless you sew constantly (which I did when my girls were growing up). My machine has never been tempermental, I think she loves me
