I think that's high for basically a garage sale. Around here when there is a garage sale with fabric it's $2 a yard.
www.thousandsofbolts.com has all fabric (Not batiks) for under $5 a yard and it's all first quality....and no waiting in line to get it cut. (Yes, shipping if under $35) The woman who inherited all this fabric, for free I assume, is really going to make a bundle!! IMHO. anyway.
