I have purchased other fabric fat quarters from Tuesday Morning and been very pleased with them. I can't afford the prices at the local quilt shops of $12-$18 yd. I go by the feel of the fabric. The local quilt shops have Moda blenders that are extremely thin compared to what they used to be.
I am so lucky to have the local shops I do; they have held the line on pricing and very rarely have anything cotton over $10/yard. I also would not buy at $12 - $18. The largest of my local shops has a sale section that is always 35% off; 40% if you finish the bolt. I'm going tomorrow to see what they've added lately. They add bolts frequently and at $5 - $6 it's hard to resist!
