Yvonne....I use to do chicken scratch and cross stitch on Gingham years ago. It was very popular at that time and there were a lot of patterns for aprons, pillow cases and bureau scarfs(I'm dating myself). It would be very easy to adapt the patterns for a quilt. Since I don't throw anything away...I think I might have some of the patterns .... if I can find them. I'll let you know.
