Welcome to the club! I don't know many people who loved their first quilt attempt. Mistakes are the only way to learn any skill. My first quilt projects each taught me some new "trick of this trade." It is best to jump into being creative and allowing yourself to discover what you would like to learn more about. Quilting is an art - it is perfected with practice and there are many many areas and mediums one can dabble with. You will eventually find your niche and as time goes on get to know yourself even better.

Good luck and keep on quilting... Let your soul express itself instead of trying to do or be what someone else has done. I hope you look back with joy and laughter at your early mistakes and see them as progress.

Hugs from afar
