rivka too funny! I have bid on the last few that came up - except for the week I was on vacation since I couldn't log on while I was gone. I know I need to get one.
Someone posted directions on how to make your own bobbin winder and although it sounds very easy to me and would be much cheaper to make one than buy one my husband said that I should buy one instead so now it's just a matter of getting one.... I am going to pick up a few prewounds to get me started until I get an actual winder....
I still have yet to tackle making my leaders. I don't know why I have such a block on making them. I just need to do it. I guess I got put off when what I read was to serge the edges - all fine and dandy if you actually OWN a serger lol.... I'll use that stitch on my sewing machine that works well enough for overlocking I guess you call it.... and just do it... then I can actually load a quilt properly! I'm hoping to get some sewing done in the upcoming week. I have a lot I want to get done and time has not been to kind to me lately. I just can't seem to shake the post vacation funk lol. I did get a bit of work done today so that's a step in the right direction!
